What Makes SuperExpo Worth Attending
SuperExpo is the only trade exclusive event in Australia dedicated entirely to window furnishings and specialised textiles, bringing manufacturers, suppliers and tradespeople together under one roof every three years.
Across three days, attendees get access to hands on workshops, training sessions and seminars, alongside the networking events and gala dinners that have become a hallmark of the expo. This year’s stand was all about giving our partners more ways to win jobs and more product options to offer their customers. Here’s a look at what we unveiled on the Gold Coast:
40mm Flat Profile, Back By Popular Demand Following strong customer feedback, we’ve reintroduced 40mm Flat Profile to our roller shutter range. It’s now available in six popular colours, giving roller shutter customers a few more options when they’re deciding on the look of their home.
Ultra Coat Paint System Our new Ultra Coat Paint System is a superior, four-stage paint process that delivers a deeper, richer colour along with the ultimate in scratch and abrasion resistance. It’s now available across our wide range of domestic roller shutter solutions.
FireSafe™ FZ Roller Shutter System Our most popular release from this year’s SuperExpo. FireSafe™ FZ has been designed and developed for extreme FZ bushfire conditions, and it’s built to be easier and faster to install without compromising on aesthetic appeal. FireSafe™ FZ Roller Shutters are expected to be available toward the end of this year.
42mm Range, High Density Foam Option Our popular 42mm Double Line range has now been strengthened with the introduction of a high density foam option, offering improved strength and better wind resistance. It’s available in both standard and restrained guide options, depending on what the job calls for.
Maxim Motorisation & Accessories An affordable, entry level motorisation and automation offer designed to help installers win more jobs and convert more sales without stretching the customer’s budget. Maxim comes with a wide range of control options, including smart hub device control, making it an easy and practical upsell on almost any job.
Innovation From The Ground Up
A lot of the work behind our product range happens well before it ever reaches an expo showcase. We spend a good deal of time in our own workshop testing materials, refining designs and figuring out how to make our roller shutters perform better, look better and last longer. That’s just part of who we are as a manufacturer.
But we also know that some of the best ideas don’t come from inside our own four walls. Our retail and installation partners are out there every single day, actually fitting our products and talking to the customers who use them. They hear what’s working, what’s causing issues on site, and what customers keep asking for that we might not have thought of ourselves. That kind of feedback shapes our range just as much as anything that comes out of our own research and development.
FireSafe™ FZ, the new High Density Foam option on our 42mm Double Line range, and the return of 40mm Flat Profile are all good examples of that. Each one came about through a mix of our own product development and honest input from the people who sell and install our shutters for a living. It’s a big part of why we keep improving, and why we’re not planning on slowing down anytime soon.
